My name is Arjunram, I worked till 2022 and in 2022 I fell ill. I worked in the mine for 27 years. I fell ill before Diwali in 2022. After that I am sitting at home. I have no work. I have small children. My wife takes care of the house by dumping garbage in the mine. I fell ill and at that time I filled the form for online for Silicosis diagnosis but have not received any money till now. I have not received any help. Now all hope is lost. The government will not help because brokers are asking for lakhs of rupees for silicosis certificate making. I have just recovered from the health issues and have fallen ill again. If you or government give me two rupees help, it will be good. There is no water facility as well. The water tap is opened once in a month. That too, it is opened only after giving tea, tobacco etc. to the person who opens the water tap. It is becoming very difficult to survive. The names of the children have been removed from the wheat ration. 8 members of the family were getting ration but now only 3 are getting it because KYC has not been done but for KYC, one has to go to the colony’s e-mitra and Chokha village. We paid 100 rupees each to E- mitra but the children are still not getting ration. Earlier we used to get 35 to 40 kilos of wheat as ration but now we are getting only 15 kilos.
